Meet the Doctors Jonathan Sheldon, M.D. Dr. Sheldon was raised in New York and received his M.D. from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1984. Following his internship at the University of Rochester he completed his residency training in family medicine at Mercy Medical Center in Denver. He holds a certificate of added qualification in geriatric medicine and is a Senior Clinical Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He has practiced in Denver since 1987. Dr. Sheldon's joys are his family, meditation, photography, and playing guitar. Heather Sowell, M.D. Dr. Sowell grew up in Washington and received her M.D. from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1991. After completing residency training in family medicine at Mercy Medical Center in Denver, she spent a year in practice in Vermont before returning to Colorado. Dr. Sowell devotes her time to medicine, her two children, running, cooking, and a wide variety of handicrafts.
